Here are the things that need to get done in order to make our reunion a smashing success - please let me know of one or two you'd like to take care of. We will have about 31 people when we are all there. This list will update when assignments are handed out, so check back.
Reunion CD
Find out each person's favorite song and burn them onto a CD (one per family or so). For more information, see this family's reunion CD.
Family Website
We need a webmaster who will make this website look screaming good!
Travel Games
Come up with a list of games that can be played on the road. See examples here (except use family things instead of wedding) and here and here.
FHE
Plan a quick Family Home Evening we can have at the park on Monday night.
Outdoor Park Ideas
We have giant Jenga and Twister that we can bring to the park on Monday. Other ideas are frisbee, relay races, water balloon toss, three-legged races... use your imagination (and Google and Pinterest).
Find a Park
Oh yeah, we need to find a good park to play at. Google has a lot of information, and it would be good to check with Paul and Theresa as well. Find a safe, pretty park that has shade, equipment for the kids to play on, and maybe even picnic tables and benches.
Air Force Museum
Find out what the hours are, make sure every car has driving directions, and be in charge of making sure everyone is appropriately impressed.
Temple Square Exhibits
Find out what is going on at Temple Square so we can decide what we want to go see. We'll swing by after we're done with the Conference Center on Sunday.
Minute to Win It Games
Come up with 5 or 6 fun games (and round up supplies) we could play at the park on Monday or after tacos Sunday night (both outside venues).
Family Pictures
We need someone who has a camera with a timer (or remote) and a tripod to take family pictures of all of us at Temple Square on Sunday. Photo editing afterwards would be a bonus.
Find Early Ward
Talk with Paul and Theresa about what time their church starts. We'll be at the Conference Center around 2, so we need to have a 9 or 10 am ward to go to. You could also look around on lds.org.
Tacos - Janette
It wouldn't be a Rasmussen gathering without Sunday tacos! Janette and Trent will host, either in their home or at the bowery of their church building.
Family T Shirts - Janette
It may be too late to get them commercially done, so we are looking at other options.
